The Hinkler Dog Care and Obedience Training Club Inc., is a non profit organisation, conducted entirely by voluntary Instructors. The Club commenced in 1996, when two eager training instructors (Barry and Leni) got together to form a club. The heart of the club was to ensure there was a friendly atmosphere and to encourage all dog owners to teach their dog basic obedience.
At Hinkler Dog Care and Obedience Training Club, we accept any breed of dog and at any age. Our class structures are designed in such a way that special requirements that you and your pet require are met early on in their training.
We have no minimum age for children to commence training with their pet, as long as they can handle their pet competently. Our grounds are also accessible for people with disabilities that wish to train their pet.
We encourage dog socialisation, to ensure that your pet is well socialised and gets along well with other dogs and people, in both a group and individual situation.
Our many experienced instructors, have brought with them a wealth of knowledge, that are only too willing to share with our club members. Our training classes are held every Sunday morning, commencing at 8.00am and finishing at 9.00am.
We do require that your dogs vaccinations are up to date and proof of vaccination must be bought along on your enrolment day.
